Meet Paths for Families (Adoptions Together)
Founded in 1990 by Janice Goldwater, Paths for Families is an adoption and family well-being organization that partners with communities dedicated to the life-long work of building and sustaining families. For over 30 years, they've been there for expectant parents exploring adoption, birth parents, prospective and current adoptive families, children in need of adoption, people who were adopted, and professionals in the community.
They believe that each family who adopts deserves professional, ethical, and sensitive treatment during the adoption home study experience. They also believe that each child who is adopted needs a permanent family that will provide the best possible parenting, no matter their challenges.

How much does a home study cost in Maryland?
Paths for Families' home study fees are determined by type of home study. As an example, below are the fees for a Domestic Home Study:
| Application Fee | $630 | Due at time of application approval. |
| Case Management Fee | $500 | Due at time of application approval. |
| Technology Fee | $150 | Due at time of application approval. |
| Home Study Fee | $1,210 | Due at confirmation of receipt of all required home study documents. |
