Meet Hudson Hearts
Hudson Hearts aka Huson Valley Adoption Services (HVAS) is licensed in NY, TX and AR. They are a full-service agency and an all-women staff made up of adoptees, birth mothers and adoptive parents – each person has been personally touched by adoption.
HVAS can complete your (domestic only) home study whether you pursue a private independent placement (working with an attorney) or placement through HVAS or another agency.
How much does a home study with Hudson Hearts/Hudson Valley Adoption Services?
Home study fees include a $500 application fee and a $3,050 for the full home study.

The staff at the Alliance for Children understands all aspects of the adoption process, both domestic and international adoption, and we walk each client through every step. Our caring staff provides individualized professional support services to meet the personal needs of each birth parent and adoptive family.
Our expertise and experience are unlike anyone else. We were incorporated in 1974 and have provided adoption services continuously for decades. Our staff has many years of experience in the field of adoption and is knowledgeable in every aspect of the adoption process. Through tough times and joyous, we are here for you.
We care about building happy families from birth parents and adoptive parents to adopted children. Our honesty and trustworthiness is everything. We tell our families everything we know and provide them with the most up-to-date information. Our families and birth parents make their own decisions throughout their journeys while we guide them along.

A home study begins with a $550 application fee which rolls into the total $3,850 initial home study fee. Additional fees may apply.

Meet Holt International
Holt International helps children thrive in the love and stability of a family. Holt pioneered the modern practice of international adoption in 1956 and continues to be the leading agency in the United States. Thousands of children have joined loving, permanent families through our adoption programs. Today, our primary focus is to help children remain in the loving care of their birth families whenever possible.
They work with families and other adoption agencies to complete domestic and international home study and post-placement requirements. The home study is a key piece of your adoption process. Before you can be approved to adopt, a social worker in your state needs to assess your family and prepare a written report about you. Holt International’s social workers will provide personal and caring support as they assist you with your adoption. If you are using a different agency for your adoption placement, Holt can still help you!

Welcome to the first step to your adoption journey! Spence-Chapin offers home study services for families pursuing domestic, international, or relative adoption. The home study assessment is a required and essential part of every adoption journey, and with over 110 years of experience providing adoption services, your team at Spence-Chapin will guide you through every step of this evaluative and preparative process.
